I echo that thought, but in a different way.
I will never be a runner.
However, I do believe God made me for a purpose, but he also made me a musician. And when I make that music, I feel His pleasure.
Eric Liddell was a hero among men. If I liked his name better, I might name one of my future children after him ... as it is, I'll at least make them watch Chariots of Fire until they're blue in the face and better for the experience. ;)
