I was coming home from church one Sunday and pulled up to a stop light and immediately saw this. I pulled out my camera and snapped a quick pic. Smart, I know.
I thought to myself "There must something hilariously funny that I could say about this photo."
But it's been over a week now and I can't think of anything.
The only thing I've learned from this experience is that after awhile, no mater how you spell "Banana" it still looks wrong....
bannana bananana bannaana?
So I'm leaving it to you readers, to come up with something explosively witty to share with the rest of us.
noooow go!

Multi-tasking?
Multi-tasking is another way of saying:
"Im getting 4 things NOT done... AT ONCE! I'm so productive blargh bar barrrgh!"
This is a picture into my life. This also does not include the 6 tabs I have open in my browser.
Can you say A.D.H.- ooh look there's my guitar! I should play a song!
story of my life.

Lost: my mind. Found: an empty head.
I could probably add an hour and a half to each day if I glued a capo to my face.
Seriously.
I have two and I can never find either.

I've Got a Jar of Diiiiiiiirt.
I don't care if its the fourth in what was a mildly disappointing trilogy, I'm excited for the new Pirates of the Caribbean movie....
Now, get to all of your judgementalness out of your brain, this should help.
Irresistably hilarious.
Captain Jack Sparrow. You will always have a tiny tiny part of my teenage heart.

More Than Mildly Creepy
I feel I must warn you in advance about this next post.

In searching for images for my previous post, I came across a series of photos that would make a normal person cringe and this person to shriek then faint.
I will also say, for the faint of heart, that they are not gross, disgusting or horrific. That is not the purpose of this blog.
They are just amusingly unsettling....
Goodness... I should just post them.
Here you go.
They're door knobs, in case you couldn't tell.... Well I suppose they would be better called doorhands.
Either way... the whole concept is incredibly awkward.
You're welcome.

The Secret of YouTube
I have come to the realization that in order to become famous on You Tube, you either have to be atrociously awful, or fantastically talented.
ahem... I'm thinking of a certain day of the week... and a color.
I think you know.
There is no middle ground.
This, however, is mostly original and completely amazing

Dora the Explorah?
Last night, My family and I were once again discussing the critically acclaimed and cerebral stimulative tv show, known as Dora the Explorer.
We were reciting parts of Brian Regan's monologue, (that can be found on iTunes, Youtube... the like) in which he talks about how the creators of the show entitled it in such a way that it only rhymes if you're from the Kennedy family
"Dora the Explorah"
For the rest of us it just doesn't work.
I am taking this somewhere, I promise.
However, as we were talking, I began to wonder if maybe the title had originated in Spanish, and then wondered aloud what "Explorer" would be in Spanish. My fancy public schooled brother (who is taking Spanish) said that he thought the feminine version would probably be "Exploradora"
MIND BLOWN.
It all made sense now.
"Dora the Exploradora"
And sure enough, when I looked on Google Translate, our theories were vindicated.
You can rest easy now, knowing that the awkward sounding title that you have come to love, in spite of its rhyming failures, just needs to be in Spanish and all will be well.
Next project? Fixing the "Map Song."

Hello Dolly!
I was having a rather mediocre rainy day till this popped up:
Now I'm actually gonna try and get some school done so I can feel less guilty about watching this.
**Note to those have not seen this gem of a film: this movie is like fried mozerella sticks. So over the top cheesy its ridiculous, but heart-warming to the soul.

"Phil of the Future" anyone?
Loved this show when I was little... and had a minor
crush on this dude:
Does anyone else remember?
...perhaps not.

Sushi
What does sushi have in common with country music, geometry and mullets? Well I'm glad you asked.
You either love them or hate them. There is no middle ground.

$100.00
I am willing bet the amount of money stated in the title above that you will have yawned at least once by the end of this post. Since starting to type, I have already yawned... wait for it.... 7 times.
Ok here we go: .... make that 8
I'm up to twelve.... how bout you?

If you are a man:
If you are a man:And you have you have a feather duster in your back pocket, I will not take you seriously.
(This one I actually saw tonight, at a gas station)
If you are a man with a profile picture involving your bathroom mirror, and cellphone, I will not take you seriously ****A shirt or lack of shirt makes no difference. We all know you spent half an hour getting a perfect shot that everyone knows doesn't even look like you
also (If you are a man: with over 100 profile pictures each containing a different girl, I will not take you seriously.) ... that was for free.

If you are a man working at Ashley Lynns, I will not take you seriously
If you smell of cologne I will take you seriously as a man of class.
If you reek of cologne, I will not take you seriously, and regard you as a creeper to be avoided at all costs.
If you are a man holding a violin I will take you seriously, and if you are a man dressed as this person in the picture I will immediately take you seriously.
If you are a man with long hair, I may or may not take you seriously. It depends on your profession, or lack thereof.

Growing up
So today I made a big step in growing up.
well, maybe a medium step.
I dropped off an application to work at a bank... yes, a bank.
and yes I am still currently blonde, and use my fingers and toes to count, but they have calculators.... right?
And then again having dark hair never really helped matters much.
I also had to give up some of my hipster ways.... including my nose ring.
I almost died.
I also never exaggerate.
But seriously, I cant remember the last time I ironed a pair of pants.
This is how I felt, minus the classy lipstick.
