Expectations

Expectations.
We put a lot of faith in them.

The height of a toilet.  
                                         -the awkward "forever fall," or the "oh, I wasn't ready!"

The weight of a door.   
                                         - the "arms pulled off" vs "forehead to edge"

The temperature of water coming out of a faucet   
                                 
                                          - we've all been burned

The height of a step or curb.
                                       
                                         - the lurch and windmill arms

The weight of an opaque milk jug  
                                     
                                        - milk over the shoulder
